KIA ORA, AND WELCOME TO HILL AFTER SCHOOL CARE AND PLAY
We are a dedicated team based at Napier Central School who aim to offer quality before and after school care along with holiday programmes for children aged 5 - 13 years old. We endeavour to treat all who are associated with our service as equal and valued individuals regardless of race, cultural or religious background, gender or ability.
hascap services
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
Start the day right for you and your child and take a bit of the pressure off.
Opening at 7.30 am onwards children arrive - being signed in by their parents/caregiver. Children are most welcome to bring a packed breakfast to eat at HASCAP. Quiet games and activities are typically organised and if children need an extra opportunity to do homework, a quiet area to do this is provided.
At 8.30 am - a quick tidy up and children are off to classes.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Whether care is needed for a short time from 3.00 pm or until 5.30 pm, for the full week or just one or more days, HASCAP can help.
We provide a small afternoon snack, time to do their homework, an organised craft and of course, time to play.
We are not open on public holidays, but we do offer special or extended care in some instances to cover such things as Teacher Only Days and early school closures.
HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES
Our holiday programmes are safe, fun, packed with activity, and affordable. Currently, we only run one week of the school term holidays, but it is always the first week, to make planning easier for parents. We are also open 1 - 2 weeks before school starts at the beginning of the year.
The Daily Programme Hours are 8.30 am - 4.00 pm but we open our doors from 7.30 am till 5.30 pm for parents who require that extra cover.

ABOUT US
HASCAP was established by a group of parents who formed the HASCAP Trust in June 1996 and meets regularly to formulate and review policies and to discuss issues in relation to the service. We encourage new parents come along to the meetings with new members being appointed at our AGM held around April each year.
CURRENT TRUST MEMBERS

We could not successfully run HASCAP without the support from these parents - we are truly grateful for their help.
We encourage any parent with an interest in keeping HASCAP a safe and successful environment to consider being part of the Trust, even for a short time.
